Our client, a leading global company in the logistics and fulfillment industry, is seeking an Administrative and Operational Support Specialist to work onsite in Tempe, AZ .

Job Title: Administrative Support

Duration: 4 month W-2 Contract Job

Location: Tempe, AZ

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM plus 5 hours of Overtime Weekly

Pay Rate: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience

Position Overview:

This role will be critical in supporting day-to-day administrative and operational functions, working closely with carriers and internal stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth execution of logistics and reporting workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and logistics with internal and external stakeholders
• Provide timely information to carriers, partners, and team members
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Transcribe notes, research logistics topics, and develop presentations for leadership
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports, analyze trends, and provide key insights
• Utilize Microsoft Suite and other tools for document creation, scheduling, and communication
• Lead or direct the work of junior staff as needed
• Work on complex assignments with a high degree of creativity and independence
• Report to a department manager and work across multiple functions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required with Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2–3 years in administrative or operations support
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook – Advanced proficiency
• Data Management and Reporting – Intermediate to advanced
• Clear, professional communication style both written and verbal
• Previous logistics or operations exposure is a plus
• Candidates must be available to support seasonal demand, with potential for extended hours
