6 month contract to direct hire

M-F / Onsite

Structural Engineer with 0-5 years’ experience to join the team supporting multi-discipline projects .

Job Description:

• Work under the direction of Senior Engineer to perform calculations and prepare design reports for steel and reinforced concrete structures and foundations.
• Perform computer aided design.
• Review calculations performed by others
• Review and comment on drawings to ensure compliance with design.
• Industrial and Offshore design experience preferred
• Field experiences considered a plus.

Qualifications:

As a minimum candidate is expected to have:

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis from an ABET accredited university – required
• MS degree is desirable.
• Engineer in Training Certificate is desired.
• Knowledge of U.S. Codes and standards required.
• Knowledge of appropriate software (MS Office, Teams, structural analysis programs), Risa/SACS experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional and detail oriented
