About the Role

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and scale our engineering team as we build the future of cloud cost optimization. You'll be hands-on with architecture and coding, while also managing and growing a high-performing team.

You’ll work closely with our founding team to define technical strategy, build scalable infrastructure, and deliver an outstanding product to thousands of customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale the engineering team from 5 to 10+ engineers, including hiring and team structure.
  • Remain hands-on with coding and architecture—this is a technical leadership role, not purely managerial.
  • Drive development of our AI-powered platform with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to align engineering with company goals.
  • Mentor and develop engineers across levels, fostering a strong, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
  • Stay up to date on the latest in AI, cloud computing, and infrastructure technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top-tier university.
  • Strong experience across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Proven knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their applications in cloud or infrastructure optimization.
  • 6+ years of engineering experience with a track record of technical leadership.
  • Solid foundation in backend systems, architecture, and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern software development practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience at a FAANG or Tier 1 tech company is a strong plus.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 6–10 years of experience
  • Managed engineering teams of 15+ people in the past.
  • Experience in a CTO or senior leadership role at a company with $30M+ ARR.
  • Previously founded or exited a startup (a major plus).
  • Strong backend and infra expertise; built products used by 1000+ customers (preferably in Series A+ startups).
  • Deep knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Extremely data-driven with a product-oriented mindset and consumer product experience.
