About the Role

Our client, a well-established direct-to-consumer healthcare products company headquartered in western Saint Louis, is seeking a Fractional Supply Chain & Procurement Director to lead and optimize their end-to-end operations. This interim executive consultant will work closely with the VP & GM to enhance sourcing, streamline fulfillment, and shape a scalable supply chain strategy aligned with rapid business growth.

This fractional opportunity is ideal for a seasoned supply chain executive with DTC/eCommerce expertise and a hands-on approach who can make an immediate impact.

Key Areas of Impact

  • Supply Chain Strategy & Process Optimization: Assess, improve, and build a roadmap to scale supply chain operations in a high-growth DTC environment.
  • Supplier & Procurement Leadership: Evaluate vendors, lead contract negotiations, and implement procurement best practices.
  • Inventory & Fulfillment: Enhance demand planning, reduce stock-outs, and improve 3PL/fulfillment partner performance.
  • Technology & Reporting: Recommend ERP/WMS upgrades, implement supply chain dashboards, and drive KPI tracking.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Actively participate in business planning and contribute to broader company strategy as a senior leader.

What We’re Looking For

✔ 10+ years in supply chain/procurement leadership

✔ DTC, eCommerce, or CPG background highly preferred

✔ Strong experience with 3PLs, supplier negotiations, and ERP tools

✔ Healthcare/regulated product familiarity is a bonus

✔ Saint Louis-based or able to be on-site regularly (local candidates preferred)

Engagement Details

  • Weekly Commitment: ~15–20 hours/week (1–3 days/week)
  • Location: Hybrid (on-site presence required in western Saint Louis)
  • Term: 4–6 months with potential to extend or evolve based on long-term needs
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly/consulting rate (W9 or Corp-to-Corp)
