Job Title: Clinical Trial Recruitment & Marketing Coordinator

Location: Cullman, AL (On-site with flexibility) - candidate MUST live 30 minutes to 1 hour from clinic

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 base + bonus potential

Format: Direct-hire, permanent position

Overview:

We're hiring an energetic and outgoing Recruitment & Outreach Coordinator to drive patient enrollment and community engagement for clinical trials. This is a great opportunity for someone from a call center, medical assisting, or front-facing healthcare role who thrives on communication and wants to grow in a mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Recruitment & Enrollment

• Create and execute recruitment plans to meet study goals
• Engage directly with potential participants to explain trials and encourage enrollment
• Track recruitment metrics and adapt strategies as needed
• Identify and overcome barriers to participation (e.g., transportation, scheduling)

Community & Provider Outreach

• Build relationships with local providers, clinics, and community organizations
• Oversee marketing efforts (with vendor support) across digital, print, and social channels
• Represent the site at community events and outreach opportunities
• Keep online and public-facing information current and relevant

Participant Support & Retention

• Serve as the first point of contact for participants
• Maintain positive participant relationships and support study retention
• Help troubleshoot and resolve any participation concerns

Data & Reporting

• Track and update patient information in the database
• Generate reports based on study eligibility criteria
• Monitor performance data to improve outreach and enrollment

What We’re Looking For:

• A true people person — outgoing, approachable, and not afraid to talk to anyone
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology (clinical research experience not required)
• Passion for helping patients and belief in the value of research
• Strong sense of ownership , accountability, and goal-orientation
• Background in call center, medical assisting, or clinical research coordination is ideal
