Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Concisely summarize the basic functions of the position.

This position will focus on product data and ensure set up and maintenance of master data as well as lead product development efforts primarily focusing on nonwoven. Facilitate communication and information with multiple stakeholders to align on product management decisions including functions such as sales, product requests, customer service, supply chain, product development, mfg. etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for SKU management and product data implementation in multiple ERP platforms.
  • Review classification annually of finished goods based on historical sales and administer the classification in ERP systems
  • Provide annual input on MTO/MTS classification through inventory analysis, historical sales volume and demand variability. Communicate proposed changes to relevant stakeholders and update ERP systems
  • Create new SKUs in multiple ERP platforms and ensure accuracy for bill of materials (BOM)
  • Maintain master data for completeness and to verify accuracy.
  • Liaison between Sales, Technical Marketing, Customer Service and Manufacturing to support new product requests.
  • Manage and coordinate product development efforts to include cost analysis and trials from feasibility to completion.
  • Responsible for nonwoven and erosion control product development
  • Create product specification data and Technical Data Sheets
  • Create appropriate analytics and providing accurate source data to operational finance.
  • Support the S&OP process

Requirements:

  • Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and business experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, affinity with IT/ERP applications
  • Working knowledge of staple fiber and Nonwoven manufacturing
  • Strong analytical skills and data driven thinking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Ability to visualize and present insights and recommendations supporting product management and overall business objective
  • Experience with database tools and queries
  • Experience with ERP (SAP, NESI / AS400, Dynamics, CRM) systems
