Job Description

The Regional Human Resources Director is a senior executive who plays a pivotal role in driving the firm’s performance by overseeing strategic people initiatives, strengthening organizational culture, and fostering talent development across the region. This professional is responsible for leading regional People (HR) operations, enhancing talent acquisition and retention strategies, and partnering with senior leadership to align human capital priorities with business objectives.

As a seasoned practitioner with deep industry knowledge and a strong business mindset, the Director contributes to the development and execution of transformative HR programs. This includes driving leadership development, organizational design, performance management, and employee engagement. The Director is also a trusted advisor and mentor, actively nurturing talent and promoting a high-performance, inclusive culture.

The role requires a proactive leader with an entrepreneurial spirit who can identify and develop new opportunities, build strong internal client relationships, and innovate in the design and implementation of People strategies. The Director is accountable for key business metrics including team financial performance, client satisfaction, employee retention, and talent growth.

Additionally, this executive champions change management efforts, leverages data-driven decision-making, and implements best-in-class practices that elevate the People function. The Director is resilient, forward-thinking, and capable of delivering results in dynamic and diverse business environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational and financial performance of regional People/HR initiatives, ensuring high-quality deliverables, streamlined processes, and timely, strategic responses to internal client needs.
  • Drive effective and innovative solutions for both new and existing internal stakeholders.
  • Provide thoughtful counsel to senior leaders, aligning people strategies with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategic talent and organizational development programs.
  • Build and strengthen trusted relationships with senior internal clients and business leaders.
  • Manage area-specific KPIs, including profitability, headcount optimization, retention, and engagement metrics.
  • Oversee internal business development efforts related to talent strategy, setting and achieving people-related goals aligned with company priorities.
  • Demonstrate advanced communication and writing capabilities, while supervising and elevating the work of others.
  • Supervise and develop team members by mentoring, coaching, setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Commit to continuous learning and development as a leader, consistently setting and pursuing stretch goals.
  • Innovate and/or adopt new HR methodologies and frameworks that enrich the firm’s intellectual capital and deliver business value.
  • Understand, balance, and drive the financial objectives of the company, the People function, and individual business units.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to co-create people-focused strategies and solutions tailored to business needs.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a consultancy, marketing, public relations, communications, or related field.
  • Thriving in fast-paced consulting environments — adapting with agility to shifting priorities, diverse clients, and parallel challenges, while staying focused on driving meaningful impact for HR teams.
  • Expertise in U.S. Hispanic industry trends, audiences, and market dynamics.
