Title : SDET - Public Cloud - Engineer II

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Duration : 06+ Months

Job Description:

setting up platform on the public cloud, so they can put applications on there and test infrastructure to ensure sitting right

This req is for the Enterprise Cloud Quality Engineering team to support testing of public cloud platforms and managed services (AWS/GCP).

Qualifications:

5+ years Software Quality Assurance

2+ years testing Public Cloud Platforms (GCP/AWS) with a combination of the below:

• IAM
• Compute Engine
• Cloud Storage
• PubSub
• Alerting / Monitoring / Logging
• gcloud/awscli
• Networking
• Database
• GKE/EKS
• others

Must have experience

Terraform, and Terraform testing. preferably with Terratest,

Linux – Redhat, CentOS, Ubuntu

• Familiarity with system administration
• Familiarity with Ansible
• Familiarity with service management
• ssh
• networking

Programming languages:

• Java / Groovy
• Spring Framework a plus
• Go
• Data Structures
• JSON and JSON path
• git / github
• IntelliJ
• VS Code / Goland
• CI/CD
• Jenkins
• Github Actions

Test automation

• JUnit / TestNG
• Cucumber a plus
• Serenity BDD a plus
• Go Terratest framework a huge plus
• Selenium a plus

Web Service Testing

• Familiarity with the protocol
• REST
• Postman / curl
• TLS and certificates are a plus
• Confluence / Jira are a plus
